Economic Response (ER) Initiative Guidelines
Program Description
To strategically respond to the economic climate, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole has established a special funding initiative to support organizations that are working with vulnerable families and individuals to address the critical issues of emergency financial assistance, housing, hunger, safety, employment or healthcare. The Economic Response Initiative will provide short-term financial support to nonprofit organizations that are facing a significant shortfall in their capacity to provide services.
Eligibility
To be eligible for funding, organizations must be a 501 (C) 3, government entity, or other IRS recognized charitable entity. Agencies working in Teton County, Wyoming to address the critical issues described above are eligible to apply.
Restrictions
The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole does not provide support for the following: religious activity, debt retirement, political activity, tickets for benefits, telephone solicitations, or organizations working primarily to influence legislation. The Community Foundation does not fund projects retroactively.
Applications
Applications for the Economic Response Initiative program will be accepted through 2010, and will be considered as they are submitted. In general, notification of funding decisions will occur within two weeks. Proposals should be submitted by email as a PDF or Word attachment to Katharine Conover.
