About Bill Newton

Before retiring in October 2000, Bill enjoyed a 47-year career in the investment research and management business--the last 41 years in The Capital Group Companies. CGC grew from $30 million under management to approximately $600 billion during his association. A local resident since 1991, Bill also served on the board of the Community Safety Network.
