Peggy Davenport Chair of Governance Committee

About Peggy Davenport

Peggy and her husband, Kirk, moved to Jackson in 2016 after spending 30 years in New York City. While raising two kids, Lydia and Addison, Peggy was also a partner specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. In addition to holding various management positions with her firm, she led a task force on the development of women professionals, served on the executive committee of the firm’s diversity committee, oversaw the operations of the marketing department and founded a website, The Debevoise Women’s Review, dedicated to issues relevant to women in the global workplace.  Peggy is now retired from the legal profession and embracing a life with a lot more skiing, yoga, hiking and travel.
