Come and learn about our newly released Strategic Plan
On Wednesday, January 29 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at Teton County Library’s Ordway Auditorium, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole will host an informal gathering for the community to learn about its newly released Strategic Plan. During the drop-in event, Foundation staff will be on hand to answer questions about the plan, which is focused on Initiatives (Behavioral Health, Education and Families, and Housing Solutions), impact investing, new office space, and grants.
“We believe in the power of community engagement, that community drives our work, and our updated strategic plan directly reflects the voices of our neighbors,” remarked Foundation President Laurie Andrews. “Over the past year, we’ve listened to the needs and desires of local organizations, partners, and our residents. This feedback shapes our roadmap for the next three years. I hope our community will come to weigh in so we continue to meet the evolving needs of our locals through collaboration, innovation and shared action.”
In 2022, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole launched a 3‑year Strategic Plan in response to the pandemic and with community feedback. In 2024, Foundation staff and board began to envision the coming three years. The process began by listening to and learning from the community through listening sessions. Feedback from nonprofit partners, invested partners, and board members helped to inform the next iteration of the strategic plan, which began at the Foundation’s Board Retreat last June. Staff leadership distilled themes from listening sessions and the board retreat, which served as the guideposts for the plan’s priorities, operating plan, and budget through 2027. The Foundation’s Board of Directors approved the plan in December 2024.
