Over $750,000 in grants awarded to 60 local nonprofits

Competitive Grants 2024

Jackson, WY — The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole announced today that its Competitive Grants program supported 60 nonprofit organizations with over $750,000 during the latest granting cycle. The Community Foundation’s grants serve a wide range of needs including Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Conservation & Environment, Animals, Education, Civic, and Recreation. As always, our committee reviewed applications from a wide swath of Teton County nonprofits,” said Community Foundation Board Member and Grants Committee Chair Deirdre Griffith. Investment focused heavily this year on programs supporting our community’s youth, families, and workforce. Spanning arts education, immigration services, food access, financial literacy training, and accessible trails, these grants will have both a broad and deep impact on the residents of our community.”

The grant requests were reviewed by a volunteer committee comprised of 30 community members, including 4 high school students. Grants were awarded based on community need and anticipated impact. Funding for the Community Foundation’s Competitive Grants Program is provided by Old Bill’s CoChallengers, individual donors, and endowed funds.
