Public Lands Day Volunteer Willow Planting at Salt Creek

Help support the environment at Salt Creek by joining Friends of the Bridger-Teton on Public Lands Day, 9/28/24, in collaboration with the USFS, by volunteering to collect and plant willow cuttings along the creek.
Please arrive a little before 9am to fill out a volunteer liability form and learn about what the day will look like as well as why it is important.
Suggested pack list: work gloves, water, work boots or shoes that you are ok getting dirty, large loppers (if you have them), wear layers, and any sun/wind protection desired.
The USFS will be providing all tools and snacks/refreshments for day of, but please feel free to bring anything that makes you more comfortable.

The site is on forest road 10382, which is adjacent and east of highway 89 about 14 miles south of Smoot and 1.25 miles south of Allred Campground.
