Nature Mapping Jackson Hole with Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation

Nature Mapping Jackson Hole is a community science initiative which seeks to obtain long-term, accurate wildlife data in Jackson Hole and surrounding areas via volunteer use of a data entry portal and app. Volunteers are required to attend a certification course prior to using the app. A variety of projects are available for certified Nature Mappers, such as Moose Day, and Mountain Bluebird Nestbox Monitoring. Our next opportunities are as follows:

  • January 21 (in Alpine) from 6-8 pm
  • January 23 (in Jackson) from 5-7 pm
  • February 7 (virtual) from 10 am - 12pm
  • March 6 (in Jackson) from 5-7 pm
